I The inspiration behind this artwork is the ever changing seasons and colours that this brings!! The leaves on the tree are painted in several different shades, of Red, Rust, Green, Yellow and highlighted with Gold and Copper which give them a lovely shimmer! . I have tried to show the golden highlights with close up photo.

At the moment I am currently working toward creating a New Body of work for my Exhibition in 2011.
In between painting for my 2011 exhibition, commissions and teaching I am also busy creating new works for my representing Galleries here in Christchurch and Akaroa including new work for Windsor Galleries upcoming exhibition in the new year!
