How my Miniature Series came about ?
I came across these cute miniature easels and thought.. mmm I wonder what a wee tiny miniature painting would look like sitting on one of those miniature easels ? If I was going to paint it I wanted it to have the same detail as my larger works… but just in miniature form, so I looked around for the right canvas and size and went to work creating a miniature landscape.
This series has proven very popular, and many people have purchased these artworks as gifts for family and friends.
They are the ideal gift to send overseas as they are so small and light.
So far I have created 23 artworks in this “Slice of Life” series, most of which have sold.
They come in two sizes Square 100mm x100mm amd Landscape 130mm x 180mm
Acrylic, Acrylic Mixed Media and Oil
Subject matter has varied from New Zealand Landscapes, Butterflies to NZ Birds.
